Love Thy Neighbor HBG exists to open doors for the youth of Harrisburg. We are a collective of locally rooted businesses that came together with a shared belief: when young people are given real opportunities, practical skills, and fair access to earning income, communities grow stronger. Through mentorship, hands on training, and paid learning experiences, we help youth develop meaningful, marketable skills while building pathways to long term success. Grounded in service, collaboration, and love for our neighbors, our work is about more than jobs—it’s about investing in potential and creating a future where Harrisburg’s youth can thrive.

Love Thy Neighbor?
To "love thy neighbor" is a call to practice active empathy and radical kindness toward others, regardless of their background or relationship to you. It transcends simple politeness, requiring a commitment to treat every person with the same dignity, care, and protection that you would naturally desire for yourself. In a practical sense, it means looking beyond your immediate circle to recognize the shared humanity in strangers or even adversaries, responding to their needs with a spirit of generosity and selflessness. It is the foundational principle that if we treat everyone as if their well-being is as important as our own, we create a community rooted in peace rather than division.
